DIMAPUR — A total of 24 students from Faith Theological College (FTC) were honoured during its 14th graduation ceremony held at its campus in Ura Villa Colony, Dimapur, on Saturday.
Speaking at the graduation ceremony as the special guest, OSD to Forest, Environment and Climate Change, Village Guards, Niholu Ayemi, said that graduation is just the beginning and added that the real work starts from today in their respective fields.
[bsa_pro_ad_space id=1]Ayemi emphasised that true graduation is achieved by those who successfully accomplished their goals in their respective fields. As students are guided by their teachers during their tenure in college, Ayemi informed that in the real world, they will encounter various difficulties and different types of people.
Ayemi, however, encouraged the young graduates not to be disheartened when they face challenges but continue with the mission to save lost souls. He also urged them not to confine themselves within their comfort zones but to venture out in remote areas and share the gospel.
As the guest speaker, the vice chairman of the Joint Christian Forum (JCF), Dimapur, Rev. Vitoshe Swu, advised the graduates to be humble and not seek for comfort for themselves. Swu urged the gathering to not focus too much on dressing and make-up but rather spend more time seeking God through prayer and also encouraged them to step out of their comfort zones and go wherever the Lord leads them.
The welcome addressed was delivered by the founder principal of Faith Theological College (FTC), Rev. Dr. S Gangte, and concluded with a benediction said by Rev. Vitoshe Swu.
