Kohima, June 25 (EMN): An employee at Naga Hospital Authority Kohima (NHAK), now Covid-19 hospital, has been tested positive for Covid-19.

The news of a positive case of Covid-19 of one employee at Naga Hospital Authority Kohima (NHAK), now Covid-19 hospital in Kohima have sent shockwaves across the state on June 25.

"We got one positive case, so we are trying to do the necessary things now," confirmed Gregory Thejawelie, the DC of Kohima to Eastern Mirror, adding that the person is a "staff from NHAK".

It is informed that the employee, who is a resident of PWD, has been admitted at Covid-19 hospital (NHAK) after being detected with the virus.

The Kohima DC said that "we are trying to take some measures" following the new development.

According to sources, the employee is serving as a receptionist at the Covid-19 hospital. Contract tracing was also said to have been done.
