Dimapur, April 23 (EMN): The 6th edition of Frolic Cup under the motto ‘Goal for change’ organised by Frolic Club, Medziphema got underway on Tue. April 23 at the Medziphema local ground.
According to an update received here on Tuesday, the inaugural function was attended by Richard Belho, architect and chairman, Zynorique Initiatives.
In his speech, Belho encouraged the youth to look forward to the future with hope and a goal for a better future. Citing the examples of James Kithan and Kevi Zhimo, he encouraged the players not to look only for govt. jobs which are limited but also towards other fields where their hearts are at. He encouraged that Nagas are blessed with talent and with dicipline, there is a future where we will dominate the sport arena too.
In the first match of the day, Thunder bolt thrashed Spartan 4-0 while Piphema Youth Organisation routed Thehouba Youngster 4-1. In the last match of the day, Kohima Eagles humiliated Frolic Junior 7-2.
