- DIMAPUR — Inali
Foundation, in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Poona Downtown, will conduct
a free prosthetic electronic arms distribution camp in Guwahati on March 8 and
9.
- The camp is being organised and sponsored by Narendra Jain,
a renowned social worker from Dimapur, in memory of his father Mohanlal Saroagi
and mother Srimati Saroagi.
- An update from the Inali Foundation stated that the
initiative was aimed at restoring mobility and dignity to individuals who have
lost their limbs in accidents and are unable to afford prosthetic limbs.
- It added that the distribution camp underscored the shared
commitment of both organisations to empower the underprivileged by providing
state-of-the-art electronic prosthetic arms free of charge.
- It mentioned that the prosthetics are designed to
significantly enhance the quality of life of recipients, enabling them to
regain independence and perform daily tasks with ease. Through the effort, the
Inali Foundation and the Rotary Club of Poona Downtown sought to support
individuals who have faced not just physical but emotional and financial
challenges due to limb loss.
