  • DIMAPUR — A free coaching programme for the Nagaland Public Service Commission (NPSC), Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), and other competitive exams for students from Phek district commenced with an orientation session at the CPO building, Phek, on February 13.

  • The initiative is being jointly organised by the Chakhesang Students' Union (CSU), Chakhesang Public Organisation (CPO), Phek Police, and the district administration. According to an update, the session was led by SP Phek, Dr. Pritpal Kaur, along with Balong Phom, EAC Phek, and the CSU team.

  • In his keynote address, CSU president Pfhulo Sara encouraged students to study with dedication and commitment.

  • Dr. Kaur provided insights into exam patterns and study materials, assuring students that more officers and EACs would join the sessions later. She emphasised that classes would be held in the early morning to ensure that official duties remained unaffected. She urged students to stay focused and help others when they become officers in the future.

  • Balong Phom shared his personal journey of exam preparation, motivating students to work hard with perseverance and consistency. The programme began with an invocation prayer by Khrovete Nuh of Phek Town Baptist Church, while words of gratitude were delivered by Vetsokho Lohe, education secretary, CSU.

  • The session, chaired by CSU General Secretary Kuzoto Swuro, saw the participation of around 40 students.
