Free medical camp at CHC Pughoboto sees 252 patients receive consultations and diagnostic services.

DIMAPUR — A free medical camp was organised at the Community Health Centre (CHC), Pughoboto, Zunheboto district, on March 7 with the initiatives of MLA Dr. Sukhato A Sema.
The camp was organised by the district administration and CHC Pughoboto in collaboration with Faith Welfare Society Dimapur.
According to a DIPR report, a total of 252 patients were officially registered and received free medical consultations during the camp.
Many other individuals also availed themselves of free liver scan (fibro scan) and other diagnostic services without formal registration. The patients were from Pughoboto, Mishilimi and several surrounding villages who turned up in large numbers and benefited from the free health care initiative.

The camp was supported by a medical team from Faith Hospital comprising five specialist doctors, five nurses, five technicians, one pharmacist and five supporting staff.
During the camp, they worked with the doctors, nurses and health care staff of CHC, Pughoboto, forming a combined medical team of over 50 personnel, including specialists and super specialists from various departments.
A range of specialised medical services were provided during the camp, including free liver scan, renal function test, blood sugar screening, surgical consultations, medical and ENT services, dental care, head and neck examination, thyroid check up and oral & maxillofacial services.
