The scheme, launched by the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, aims to provide free LPG gas cylinder connections to women from poor families across India, particularly in rural areas, with the motto “Clean fuel, better life” to improve health, safety, and living conditions, stated a DIPR report.
The awareness and distribution programme will be held on March 6 from 10 am to 3 pm at three locations in Wokha town: NST Area, Police Point, and Niropen Colony.
