The District Health Society Mokokchung will be organizing a “healthy Life Style Camp in IMDH on 15th January 2016 from 10:00 AM. The camp will focus on promoting healthy life style (healthy diet, physical activity, avoiding tobacco and alcohol use and screening for non-communicable diseases such as high blood pressure, diabetes, heart diseases etc, the organizers said on Monday, January 11.
Special health talks and counseling will be delivered by trained IEC personnel of the department. Blood pressure measurements, body mass index, and blood sugar testing, among others will be conducted for free on the day. All the adults above the age of 30 years are invited to avail the opportunity. Special doctors and physiotherapist will be available for consultation, the organizers said.
