Act of kindness concluded its fourth edition of ‘Magnum Opus’ on Oct. 25. The two day event commemorated the International Artist Day where all art lovers came together at Urban Haat in Dimapur, to learn and grow from each other.
There were various competitions which included art, poetry, story writing, and clay modelling workshops by professionals in the respective field.
Food stalls, art exhibitions and art demonstrations were conducted and set up by six artists namely Buddhi Thapa, Lipokmanen Longkumer, Pangeronen, Along Changkiri, Cynthia Kolakhe, Tunavi Achumi and Akup Buchem.
The winners in the various competitions were; Poetry (senior category): 1st - Sansan Lotha (INR 3000), 2nd-Moali Pongen (INR 1000), 3rd -Angela Ao (Gift)
Poetry (school category): 1st - Lomi Aomi (INR 3000), 2nd - Limasangla (INR 1000)
Short story (open category): 1st -Tokaholi (INR 3000), 2nd Vanlalzaroliana (INR 1000) 3rd -J. K. Manlun (Gift)
Short story (school category): 1st - Cynthia Pochury (INR 3000), 2nd –Elizabeth (INR 1000), 3rd - Anwesha Dey (Gift)
All story writing workshop attendees also received "Sincerely Yours" book by author Sentilong Ozukum.
The live music competition winner was bagged by Yangerla and received an audio and video contract with Richa Production including a cash prize of INR 10,000.
The art competition winners were Lipokmanen Longkumer (INR10, 000), Joyce Ao and khrivozonuo as runners-up with a cash prize of INR 5000 each with certificates.
All winners were given certificates and first prize winners from all categories won free dental check up from Dental Touch and facial Aesthetics. Winners have been requested to call on +919774815121 or +919856094683 to avail the dental check up.
