Four Peren villages declared 'girl child friendly'

DIMAPUR — The District Administration of Peren, in collaboration with the District Hub for Empowerment of Women (DHEW), Peren, under the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao (BBBP) initiative, has declared four villages in the Peren district as ‘girl child friendly villages’.

According to a DIPR report, the villages are Tening, Samzuiram, Old Puilwa, and Bongkolong.

During the District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) Peren meeting on Wednesday, Vineet Kumar, the Deputy Commissioner of Peren, presented certificates of appreciation and declarations to the village councils.
