Kohima, Oct. 5 (EMN): Four senior police officers: P. Sendongmeren, Etssimongo Ngullie, Rothihu Tetseo and Videlalie Zashu of the Nagaland Police Service have been appointed to the Indian Police Service (IPS) on probation with immediate effect.
As per a notification from the Ministry of Home Affairs dated Oct. 4, the four officers will be allocated to the Nagaland cadre under sub rule (I) of the rule 5 of the IPS (cadre) Rules 1954. The officers will remain on probation for a period of one year as per the rules and they would obtain induction training.
