Dimapur, March 25 (EMN): Two candidates: Hayithung Tungoe of the National People's Party and Dr. MM Thromwa Konyak of the Indian Christian Secular Party filed their papers for the Lok Sabha elections on Monday, the last day for filing of nominations, according to a DIPR report.
The ruling People’s Democratic Alliance (PDA) consensus candidate and Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) party nominee Tokheho Yepthomi and Congress candidate KL Chishi have already filed their nomination papers on March 22.
Scrutiny of documents will be conducted on Tuesday while the last date of withdrawal of candidature is March 28. Nagaland goes to poll on April 11.
