- DIMAPUR — Prof.
Suresh S Honnappagol, former vice chancellor of KVAFSU- Bidar, assistant
director general for quality assurance and reforms at Education Division, ICAR,
and Animal Husbandry Commissioner, Government of India, visited College of
Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry, CAU (Imphal), in Jalukie under Peren
district on January 16.
- An update from the college stated that Dr. I Shakuntala,
Dean of the college, welcomed the guest and presented a brief college profile.
- It stated that Prof. Honnappagol shared his experiences in
the veterinary sector and explained the role of veterinarian in society. He
appreciated the Dean of college and faculty for their efforts made for progress
of the college and emphasised the student empowerment for their success.
- During an interaction with faculty, staff and students, he
expressed happiness for having more girl students in the college and appealed
to work hard for the progress of the college.
- Prof. Honnappagol concluded his speech by conveying best
wishes to the college for its progress and student as a successful
veterinarian.
- Dr. Amrit Gogoi, assistant professor, has expressed
gratitude to Prof. Honnappagol for his guidance and devoting his to visit the
college.
