Dimapur, May 28 (EMN): A seminar on community reserve was conducted by the wildlife division, department of Environment, Forests & Climate Change on May 25 at the Blyths Tragopan Conservation & Breeding Centre in Kohima.
According to a department release, resource person Dr. Keneilhoutuolie Miachieo spoke on the importance and responsibility of preservation nature. He applauded the four villages for their selfless and generous approach of preserving their community forest for the future generation.
The chairmen from the four community reserve villages namely D Khel Kohima, Mezoma, Kigwema, and Dihoma spoke on the works carried out on their community reserves and gave their words to work hand in hand with the Forest department.
The press note mentioned that a quiz competition was also conducted for the students who attended the seminar.
