For ILP process, DC Dimapur empowered
Dimapur, Dec. 12 (EMN): Anticipating ‘a large number of applications’ for Inner Line Permit (ILP) and certificates in the aftermath of the state government extending ILP regime to the district of Dimapur, the Home department has authorised the deputy commissioner (DC) of Dimapur to requisition services of officers and staff of any of state government offices/departments in the district, as and when required.
According to a DIPR report on Thursday, the DC has been empowered “keeping in view the extent of the entire exercise, there may arise a need for utilising the services of additional manpower for assisting and helping the district administration of Dimapur so that the whole process gets carried out in a smooth and time bound manner”.
All the heads of offices/departments in Dimapur district have been asked to ensure that the services of their officers and staffs are promptly put at the disposal of DC as and when the latter seeks to requisition them, it added.
