Kohima, March 1 (EMN): Sudeva Residential Football School are currently conducting selection trails for U-13, U-15 and U-18 in Kohima at the IG Stadium.
On Friday, it was informed that 84 upcoming footballers below the age of 18 turned up for the football trails.
Anuj Gupta co-owner of the academy stated that they saw some great untouched football talents even though the turn up was low, as per their estimate on March 1.
He added that the academy firmly believe that Kohima has a lot of natural talent which was untapped.
The co-founder meanwhile assured that the club will take couple of players from Friday’s talent hunt and trial planned on March 3 to Delhi on scholarship.
The organisers informed that the second selection trails will be held till March 3 beginning from 12 pm to 5 pm with on spot registration fee at INR 299. The trials will be personally helmed by the co-founders Anuj Gupta and Vijay Hakari.
Interested players are requested to bring original birth certificate and aadhaar card.
Sudeva Club are currently playing in second division I league and also owns CD Olympic Xativa - 3rd division club in Spain.
The organisers informed that the players who are selected would get a chance to play in Spain or be a part of Sudeva's Residential Football School, New Delhi and become part of Sudeva I-League teams in their respective age groups.
