Football coaching camp for girls at Phek culminates

Phek, Dec. 12 (EMN): A five-day football coaching camp for girls came to a close on December 11 at Phek town local ground.

The free coaching camp was organised and by Phek district administration and district-level centre for women (DLCW) - Mahila Shakti Kendra (MSK), Nagaland Football Coaches Association (NCFA) and DEF Phek.

All the necessary precautions and SOPs related to Covid-19 were followed throughout the training camp wherein more than 120 participated, according to an update.

Exhibition matches were played on the last day of the coaching camp for different age categores: U-9, U-13, U-16 and 17 above; and all the participants were presented with certificates, football boots and tee shirts with BBBP logo.

Certificates of merit were awarded to most promising players in different age categories: U-6 to Lunulu Rhakho, U-13 to Swuyevelu Rhakho, U-16 to Hukulu  Keyho and U-17 to Vebuno Keyho.

It may be mentioned that six AIFF 'D' license coaches and a women coach with bachelor’s degree on Physical Education conducted the training.
