Food Safety department to inspect eateries in Dimapur

Eastern Mirror Desk Dimapur, Sep. 11 (EMN): Chief Medical Officer, Dimapur, Dr. Vikato Kinimi, told Eastern Mirror on Wednesday that the Food Safety department will start checking all the restaurants, food stalls and shops in Dimapur district to see if business establishments are maintaining hygiene. The CMO has requested all the business people in the city to maintain hygiene and urged the shopkeepers not to keep or sell any expired goods. He has also asked the food vendors to keep their kitchen clean and refrain from using polythene cups, and that defaulters will be penalised.
