Fisheries dept bids farewell to officer

Dimapur, Sep 13 (EMN): Department of Fisheries has organised a farewell programme in respect of its outgoing Additional Director, C Imtitongzuk Longkumer, on August 31 in the Directorate. The programme was chaired by Rongsennungba, Joint Director of Fisheries, while the invocation was said by Mary Kithan and short speeches were delivered by R Wati Imchen, Registrar; Dory C Yanthan, DFO Kohima; I Khuyivi Sema, Assistant Engineer; and Ngabu Rengma, Statistical Inspector. The Director, in his speech, praised the outgoing officer as a man of action who served the department with outmost sincerity and dedication. Meanwhile, the outgoing officer, C Imtitongzuk Longkumer, thanked the Director and the staff for their excellent teamwork and support he received throughout his service. The vote of thanks was pronounced by Yhunsenlo Kent, Assistant Director of Fisheries.
