Dimapur, July 3 (EMN): In view of the recent seizures of fish products laced with Formalin in the market, the deputy commissioner of Kohima, Rajesh Soundararajan has informed that import of all kind fish and crustacean products and sale of the same has been banned with immediate effect in Kohima district.
DC has cautioned that violators will be prosecuted as per the relevant legal provision.
Kohima Municipal Council administrator has been directed to take necessary steps to ensure strict compliance of the same.
