Dimapur, Feb. 23 (EMN): The four-day first Naga International Trade Fair and Summit (NITFaS) 2019 successfully concluded on February 23. The trade fair and summit held at Agri Expo site witnessed participation of visitors and companies from the region and beyond.
The closing ceremony was graced by Nibu Nagi, managing director of NN construction and decors, wherein he exhorted the entrepreneurs and participants of the trade fair by sharing his experiences and suggestions on doing business.
The NITFaS 2019 also witnessed entrepreneurship competition and award worth INR 50,000 sponsored by NN Nagi School, Dimapur. The competition was conducted live on formal presentation and pitching format judged by four expert panels. A total of eight companies/ business participated in the competition.
The competition was awarded to Online Express Nagaland for achieving 57 points out of 80 full score point.
The guest of honour and the panel of expert judges agreed felt that there is still a room of improvement. They have encouraged the other contestants to strive harder in the upcoming event to be hosted by NITCA.
NITCA president, Augustine Reading Kaba, highlighted that trade fair is one important element to present the potential of the region. He added that the trade fair was organised to bring in collaboration and cooperation between various agencies, partners, companies, etc to develop the economic activity.
NITCA president highlighted that the theme for the future trade fair would be “Meet in Nagaland.” He said the event schedule for the next trade fair and summit would be announced shortly.
NITCA secretary general, Kejaroko Pieru, in his vote of thanks, has appreciated all the organisers, participants, exhibitors, and all those who supported the trade fair and summit in making the event a success.
