First innovative idea contest held in Dimapur

[caption id="attachment_275297" align="alignleft" width="600"] Local innovator Victor Chang demonstrating some of his creative innovations to the student at the first innovative idea contest in Dimapur on October 4.[/caption] Dimapur, Oct.4 (EMN): Innovation Hub organised the first innovative idea contest (seminar-cum-interaction with local innovator) in Dimapur on October 4 with an aim to help students develop scientific temper, informed an update from Nagaland Science Centre (NSC) on Friday. The contest, which was organised at Nagaland Science Centre in Dimapur, aimed to "address Iocal issues and needs by identifying, solving, innovating and creating.” Richard Rikhio, senior curator of NSC, "highlighted the importance of ideas and local innovations,” while local inventor Victor Chang interacted with the students through demonstration of some of his creative innovations, informed the update. Tsuinsajung (carpentry student) of Kudatech Skill Centre won the Best Idea Award and Shubham Kumar Singh (Class 8 of Little Star Hr. Sec. School) and Tingzing Konyak (Class 11, Holy Cross Hr. Sec. School) won the second and third prizes respectively.
