Kohima, April 11 (EMN): A house belonging to Nagaland Hotels Limited (NHL) chairperson Aneii Khaming, located at Lerie Chazou, near NST Garage Kohima was partially burned down in a fire incident that occurred Tuesday evening.
According to fire station Kohima, the fire was suspected to have sparked off from an electric short circuit. Two fire tenders were pressed into action and it took 90 minutes for the fire-fighters to bring the inferno under control. Properties estimated to be worth around Rs 4 lakh is said to have been damaged in the fire.
The house owner is the widow of former MLA late Sedem Khaming.
