WOKHA — An 87-year-old man from Longla village was reportedly mugged by two unidentified persons while walking to Wokha town on the morning of July 7 at around 8:30 am.
The victim, identified as Ekhyimo Ngullie, alleged that two men trailed him before attacking him on a stretch of road between the Nyiro Range Road Waiting Shed and the Lothatsu Prayer and Healing Centre in Saron Colony.
The assailants allegedly overpowered him from behind, tied his eyes and mouth with cloth, and took away the cash and documents he was carrying.
