FIR against Patton

Dimapur, April 16 (EMN): The Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC) has filed an FIR against Deputy Chief Minister Y Patton for alleged violation of the election model code of conduct. The NPCC issued a press statement on Tuesday informing that it has lodged a complaint against Patton “for serious violation of election model code of conduct by entering the polling station wearing political party scarf and criminal conduct of impersonation and forgery by indulging in proxy voting during the 17th LS election on 11th April, 2019 under 37 (Tyui) assembly constituency.” It stated that the complaint has been filed at Wokha police station.
