After many months of instability doing the rounds in the internal politics of the Manipur Pradesh Trinamool Congress, the party finally regained stability after the intervention of the Party High Command.
MPTC President and MLA Th Shyamkumar, in a press release, stated that the state unit has revoke the suspension of Kh Joykishan, Thangmeiband MLA; O Lukhoi Singh, Wangoi MLA and Thongam Biswajit, Thongju MLA –with the immediate effect in the interest of strengthening the party. The decision to revoke came after strong instruction of the Party High Command and on recommendation of the Executive Meeting held on December 4.
He added the disqualification proceedings against them are withdrawn straight away. It may be mentioned that the state unit decided to suspend the three MLAs for their ‘alleged’ indiscipline and misconduct.
President Shyamkumar also announced that in the latest development, MPTC has appointed MLA Kh Joykshan as the working president of the party, and MLA Bishwajit and MLA Lukhoi as vice presidents of MPTC in addition to the existing VPs of the party.
