FGN re-elects S Singnya as Kedahge
The Federal Government of Nagaland (FGN) unanimously re-elected its former Kedahge, Brig. (Retd.) S Singnya, for another five-year term
- DIMAPUR — The
Federal Government of Nagaland (FGN) held its 73rd Tatar Hoho at Oking on
February 22, during which, after the successful completion of a five-year term
by the kedahge, the Tatar Hoho unanimously re-elected its former Kedahge, Brig.
(Retd.) S Singnya, for another five-year term, from 2025 to 2030.
- According to an update, the house also elected its new
kedallo, P Puthai Lam, who is also the co-convener of the NNPGs. As per the
Yehzabo of Nagaland, the elected kedahge has constituted its new Council of
Kilonsers: S Aso Yimkhiung as Kilo Kilonser, Mughato Yeptho as Chaplee
Kilonser, and has also inducted kilonsers into various ministries.
- In a separate press release, the FGN informed that it has
removed the following members from their posts, as they had defected to other
political groups: Tingloi, kilonser; Wanto, kilonser; Penjei, deputy kilonser;
Hono, tatar; Matlaong, tatar; Chengom, midan peyu, Konyak region; Pangpu, razou
peyu; Yenwang, razou peyu; Thungchamo, midan peyu; Lithio, Kikon kilonser;
Roland N Tsopoe, deputy kilonser; Zuchamo Patton, tatar; and Abemo Jami, joint
secretary.
