Dimapur, March 22 (EMN): Having observed that certain elements were collecting illegal taxations in the name of Federal Government of Nagaland (FGN) by forging printed receipt challan, the latter has cautioned all types of taxpayers not to entertain any financial transaction without ascertaining the genuineness from the concerned authorities. A press release issued by its rali wali affairs (MIP) stated that the unauthorised collection of illegal taxations by using the forged printed receipt challan on behalf of the FGN by a “gang of imposters” has created an extreme challenge to the government to nab and control those criminal-minded to a total halt. It, however, stated that the Dimapur town command under 6th Brigade, Naga Army, had arrested a ring leader identified as Ashika Achumi, who has been thoroughly investigated. In the light of the above stated circumstances, FGN has reminded all types of taxpayers not to entertain any financial transactions/ taxations before ascertaining the genuineness from the concerned government authorities.
