The FGN issues a warning notice to Sukhai Awomi against illegal tax collection in the name of the NNC/FGN.

DIMAPUR — The Federal Government of Nagaland (FGN) has issued a warning notice to Sukhai Awomi, also known as Asukha Awomi, for his continuous alleged engagement in collecting taxes in the name of the NNC/FGN, even after his termination from the FGN in late September 2023.
According to a press release issued by Deputy Kilo Kilonser of FGN Tusoveyi Demo on Friday, the FGN received several complaints against Awomi.

The FGN strictly warned Awomi to stop his illegal activities and stop tarnishing the image of the NNC/FGN. It stated that failing to abide by the warning notice, the FGN will take its own course of action against him as per the law.
The FGN also urged the general public and business establishment holders, especially in Dimapur, not to deal with or entertain Awomi in any form, as he has nothing to do with the NNC/FGN. It added that dealing with him will be at their own risk.
