DIMAPUR — The Fed-Up Nagas, a collective movement of Naga youths, has urged the Government of India to implement agreements already signed with the Nagas to bring a just and honourable conclusion to the long-standing Naga political issue.
The movement stated that the shared conviction is that the only sustainable way to address and end prevailing social evils is to resolve the political issue, which stands concluded in principle.
In a press release, the group appealed to the Government of India to act with sincerity and responsibility and to refrain from divisive approaches that foster misunderstanding and discord among the Nagas. It added that continued delay only weakens collective strength and accelerates disintegration as a family, a people, and a nation.

It was mentioned that the Fed-Up Nagas functions as a collective movement guided by a core group of like-minded youths without hierarchy, titles, or official positions. Any Naga youth may be part of this core and contribute to the movement.
In view of the ongoing HSLC and HSSLC examinations, the movement will continue with awareness and mobilisation campaigns in a responsible manner until the examinations conclude. Immediately thereafter, a mass youth rally will be organised, and memorandums and representations will be submitted to the relevant authorities as peaceful and democratic demands for a timely resolution.
The Fed-Up Nagas requested prayer support from all churches and the general Naga public for the success of the movement, seeking divine guidance and unity in the pursuit of permanent peace.
