F&CS Dmr notifies on Aadhaar seeding with ration cards

Dimapur, August 7 (EMN): In pursuance of the Section l 2(2)(c) of National Food Security Act’2013 (NFSA ‘2013); Section 7 of Aadhaar Act’2016, which stressed on leveraging Aadhaar for unique identification/require Aadhaar authentication or proof of possession of Aadhaar number as a condition for receipt of Government subsidy, benefits or service funded from consolidated Fund of India, Director of F&CS, Dimapur has informed all beneficiaries of NFSA (i.e. PHH & AA Y Ration Card holders along with the family members) in the state shall produce photocopy of Aadhaar number as proof of identity to the Department so as to complete the process of Aadhaar seeding with Ration Cards in the eRCMS data, implementation of FPS automation and Supply Chain Management as per the Government of India guidelines.
