IMPHAL, Dec. 13: FC Zalen, Sadar Hills sailed into the quarter finals of the ongoing 60th edition of Manipur Soccer Tournament popularly known as CC Meet on Tuesday.
In their pre-quarter final match played at Mapal Kangjeibung ground in heart of the Imphal town on Tuesday afternoon, FC Zalen beat KLASA, Keinou in Manipur's Bishnupur district 3-2.
FC Zalen will be meeting Baarhoongka AC Kokrajhar(Assam) in their quarter final match on Friday.
On Monday, TRAU Kwakeithel lost to NISA, Thangmeiband 4-3 via penalty shoot-out in the pre-quarter final match. Now NISA will take on Assam Regimental Centre(ARC) Shillong on Saturday(Dec 17).The winner of NISA and ARC Shillong will meet Southern Sporting Union Singjamei on December 19.On the other hand NEROCA Sangakpham,an Imphal team will take on DMRAO Sekmai in Imphal West district in another quarter final match on Thursday.
