Fazl Ali College marks foundation day in Mokokchung, felicitating university toppers and achievers.
DIMAPUR — Fazl Ali College in Mokokchung celebrated its 67th foundation day with the felicitation of meritorious students, university toppers, and achievers.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SP), Mokokchung, Vesupra Kezo, attended the event as the guest of honour, alongside Additional SP Bunglang Chang and Deputy SP Reserve Imlitemjen, according to an update.
Speaking on the occasion, Kezo noted that a college is not just infrastructure filled with facilities but a temple of new ideas and innovations to discover possibilities and imagine a better society, adding, ‘Privileges come with responsibilities.'
He observed that while people in a technology-driven world are overloaded with information, “information is not wisdom”, pointing out that technology cannot provide discipline, character, and responsibility towards the community.

On drug usage, he advised that one wrong decision destroys individuals, relationships, and society, urging students to protect their dreams and community. He further urged students to use technology responsibly, stating, ‘AI should not be a threat’, but rather a powerful tool to enhance thinking. He encouraged the students to build character, discipline, and respect.
During the event, the college felicitated meritorious students across various categories.
Earlier, Principal Dr. I Wati Imchen delivered the foundation day address, presenting an overview of the college's achievements, activities, developments, and progress.
