Dimapur, Oct. 13 (EMN): Fazl Ali College, Mokokchung accorded a befitting farewell to five of its staff members on who retired from service on Sep. 30.
The five staff members, N. Toshi Keitzar, J. Tiamenla, Mapula Kilang, Talimeren, and Temjenzungba who had all joined the college in 1983 when the science wing was introduced in the college and after having served for 35 years had retired from service to the government.
In their farewell programme, which was held on Oct. 12, the retiring employees said that they were proud to have had the privilege of serving in the college and wished the college well. Principal of Fazl Ali College, S. Arenla Longkumer, said that the retiring staff had been pillars of the college and that their absence would be difficult to fill. Speeches were also delivered by S.K. Alemba, UDA on behalf of the staff; Watitoshi, President, Fazl Ali College Teacher’s Association; Naomi from Department of Botany and Dr Lendina, Librarian.
