Dimapur, May 4 (EMN): ATMA, Zunheboto block, has conducted demonstration on preparation of compost pit and cultivation of summer crops at Nizü Naghato on May 2.
The practical demonstrations were shown to the farmers by resource person Chubatsur Jamir, BTM Zunheboto block, followed by discussion with the farmers about cultivation of summer crops where vegetable seeds of summer crops were distributed to the farmers.
Meanwhile, ATMA Zunheboto block also conducted training for farmers on chilly pickle making at Lizü old village. The resource person of the programme was BTM, Zunheboto block.
More than 23 participants including the SHGs members participated in the training.
