Dimapur, May 7 (EMN): The Agricultural Technology Management Agency (Atma) Tsaru and Longkhim Blocks jointly conducted Kisan Kalyan Karyashalays (KKK) programme at ADC conference hall in Longkhim on May 2.
Speaking during the occasion, additional deputy commissioner of Longkhim Kikumsangla, encouraged the farmers to adopt new technologies and scientific methods of cultivation to increase production. She also requested the farmers to avail various schemes available in the agriculture and allied departments.

The resource persons of the programme were Dr. AT Poangba from the Veterinary department; Imotemjen from Horticulture department; O Changlem from Fishery department; Yimtocho from Irrigation & Flood control department; Hopise from Agriculture department; Sanglejungla from the Sericulture department; and Eliseni from the KVK of Tuensang. The resource persons spoke about various schemes that are available in their respective department.
The additional deputy commissioner also gave away prizes and certificates to two best farmers viz. Lichumse from Tsaru block and Hojongse Sangtam from Longkhim block.
Twenty seven farmers from Tsaru and Longkhim blocks attended the programme, updates informed.
