the 17th convocation ceremony.
- DIMAPUR — Faith Theological Seminary (FTS),
Jotsoma, held its 17th convocation ceremony on Monday where 31 students received
their degrees.
- In an update, the seminary stated that the valedictory
message was delivered by Asola Jamir, academic dean of FTS. The speaker
exhorted the graduates to constantly seek God’s wisdom which alone can make
them effective servants of God.
- FTS Principal Rev. Dr. Viesielie gave away the awards and
certificates to the graduates. The service was led by Mhasilhoubei, senior
lecturer, while the seminary choir presented a special number.
- According to FTS, the recipients of different awards are Bahadur
and Vesaprulu (Academic Excellence Award, M. Div), Razutsa Sapu (Academic
Excellence award B. Th), Raj Bahadur (Best Thesis Award), R Rishi Naidu (Best
Term Paper Award), Jona Basumatary and Meyilong Ozukum (Practical Ministry
Award), Van Biak (Most Improved Student
Award), and L Rozo (Best All Rounder Student Award). The programme culminated
with a commissioning prayer led by FTS principal.
