Faith in Action Martial Arts Academy awards Kukkiwon Black Belts to 21 players in Dimapur.

DIMAPUR — The Faith in Action Martial Arts Academy organised a Taekwondo Black Belt awarding ceremony at Immanuel Hall, Y Zhimo Colony, Dimapur, on February 28.
A total of 21 Taekwondo players qualified for their Black Belt (Dan) certification and received official Dan Certificates issued by Kukkiwon, World Taekwondo Headquarters, South Korea, stated an update.
Among the achievers, Tina Thapa was awarded the Black Belt 2nd Dan.

The players awarded Black Belt 1st Dan were Nito Tuccu, Imtichila Pongen, Echang W Magdalene, Ithuka A Awomi, Sebastian Thatal, Kevikito Sakhru, Atobo Awomi, Juli Tsuqu, Aahan Debnath, Kivu A Awomi, Michael Sema, Imtirenla Imsong, Liku A Awomi, Nishepe Zhimo, Kivika Zhimo, Hinoto Achumi, Lamgunhao Lotjem, Smaiham Lamgthasa, Talimoa Longchar, and Toika Shohe.
Deep Kumar, founder and Director of Faith in Action Martial Arts Academy, felicitated the recipients.
Addressing the gathering, the academy leadership stated that earning a Black Belt is not the end of the journey but the beginning of greater responsibility, adding that black belts are expected to uphold the core values of Taekwondo to serve as role models.
The academy acknowledged the support of parents and the school authorities of Littlestar Higher Secondary School, Christian Higher Secondary School, and Westside Higher Secondary School.
