Experimental rock band from Longleng, Inyiushong released its debut music video ‘Shinglungkuppa’ at Mhachaki in Kohima on Oct. 8.
An update issued on Oct. 8 stated that the music video was officially launched by advisor for Fire & Emergency Services, SIRD, Relief & Rehabilitation Pohwang Konyak during a brief function.
Inyiushong consists of Pauloi Phom on vocals, Ben and Phomngai Mukho on guitars, Baloi Buchem on bass and Yongtaumetmei on the drums.
Formed in the year 2010, the band’s music is influenced by heavy metal, progressive rock, nu-metal and folklore.
The newly released music video ‘Shinglungkuppa’ is said to be based on Phom Naga folklore and talks about the mysteries of the fabled log drum.
Besides friends and well wishers, the release function was said to have been attended by advisor for Duda N Bongkhao Konyak and MLA CL John.
