Imphal, Feb. 28 (EMN): Tamenglong District Election Officer D Meidinbui on Thursday opened a three-day photo exhibition-cum-multimedia campaign at District Information Office, Tamenglong district, about 150 km west Imphal.
The exhibition is a state-wide programme highlighting various activities and achievements of state government.
Addressing the inaugural programme as a chief guest, DEO said that with the exhibition will bring general awareness among the public and society about various achievements taken up by the state government.
The exhibition is being organised by the department of Information and Public Relation (DIPR), Manipur with an aim to highlighting various achievements and activities through photo exhibition, multimedia campaign, display hoardings, and publications.
A monthly journal published by DIPR was distributed to the participants.
School and college students, orphanage home, various village chairman and civil society attended the inaugural function. The exhibition will continue till March 2.
Similar photo exhibition is also underway at Motbung in Kangpokpi district after holding another exhibition in Churachandpur district headquarters.
