Dimapur, Feb. 17 (EMN): The District Excise, Dimapur duty party at Newfield Excise Checkgate, Dimapur led by AIE Mainshila Aier along with five constables while keeping vigil for suspected vehicle movements, seized and recovered 50 cases from one Mahindra Bolero bearing Regd No.N L06/0193 on Feb. 17 at around 6:40 am. This was informed on Sat. by the Excise authority.
In this connection, one Vika Yeptho son of Kuivato (25 yrs), resident of Kushiabill, Dimapur has been arrested and booked under the relevant section of the NLTP Act of 1989.
In a separate seizure, Excise Mobile Squad Special Task Force on Feb. 14 seized 1416 bottles of assorted liquor.
For the stated reason one Bikas son of Hari, resident of 4th Mile, Dimapur has been arrested and booked under relevant section of NLTP Act.
