Dimapur, May 26 (EMN): 17 Excise (Mobile Squad) special surveillance team on a tip off raided a residence at Kushai Bill area, where various brand illegal liquors were stocked.
The duty team led by AIE Jungti along with head constable Sunep, Excise constables Kezanguozo, Lanukumdang, Tongkhohen and Wati, recovered IMFL and beer (1163 bottles ).
The owner of the consignment, Niku, son of Shike was arrested and booked under relevant section of NLTP ACT’ 89. The seized articles were deposited in a Mobile Squad Malkhana Dimapur for destruction.
