The Ex-Servicemen League Nagaland elected new office bearers for the 2025–2028 tenure at a general meeting in Dimapur, followed by a formal handing over ceremony in Kohima.

DIMAPUR — A general meeting-cum-election of office bearers to the office of the Ex-Servicemen League, Nagaland, was held recently at the Conference Hall of the Ex-Servicemen League, Dimapur, Chümoukedima, and Niuland (DCN) at Walford, Dimapur.
According to an update, the event witnessed the participation of ex-servicemen representing all districts of Nagaland.
The election of the new office bearers for the tenure 2025-28 was conducted, with Maj. Vikuto Assumi (retd.) elected as president, Hony. Sub. Maj. Moatemsu (retd.) as vice president, Sgt. Ngukavi Kinimi (retd.) as general secretary, Nk YN Lotha (retd.) as joint secretary, Nk Daniel Longchar (retd.) as information and publicity secretary, NK Keneiwelie (retd.) as finance secretary, and NK Vinyi Domeh (retd.) as treasurer.

The formal handing over/taking over ceremony was conducted on August 16 at the office of the Ex-Servicemen League in Kohima. Following the ceremony, the first meeting of the newly elected office bearers was convened.
