EVM-VVPAT second randomisation held

Dimapur, March 30 (EMN): The second randomisation of EVMs/ VVPATs was done for 1-Nagaland parliamentary constituency 2019 election on March 30 by the Returning Officer and Commissioner, M Patton, in the presence of the representatives of the candidates and election expenditure observer, LP Singh. In the second randomisation carried out in the conference hall of the Commissioner’s office, Kohima, the allocation of machines to the respective polling station in all the 60 assembly segments was decided and a hard copy of the randomisation given to all the representatives. CEO, Abhijit Sinha, informed that since the announcement of the elections in the state, government machineries have seized a total cash of INR 71,57,740 and 58,766 litres of liquor.
