Ethnic Future- a six member dancers was announced as the champion of “Open Dance Explosion Competition (ODEC)-3” which was held at Wokha Town Hall on July 29 with the theme “Unveil your dancing skill”.
The winning group Ethnic Future walked away with a cash prize of Rs. 24,000 and certificate.
NPF women wing Central Kohima, Secretary Ekonlumi (Arona) gracing the event as the chief guest felt the need of promoting young talent in the state.
She encouraged the participants to strive forward where fame comes with hardship and achievement comes to those who stand strong in times of adversity. She also accentuated that there are many platform where one could get involve and make a living, but sincerity and patience is the end result for success.
The third edition of “Open Dance Explosion Competition” attracted a good number of artistes, wherein 17 registered for the contest that was organized by WCSU and WDAU.
Special appearance by Trinity Mope crew enthralled the gathering.
The Fusion Crew was declared the 1st runners up and took home cash prize of Rs.16,000 with certificate and Anok Konyak as the 2nd runners up taking home cash prize of Rs. 8,000 with certificate.
