Dimapur, Nov. 5 (EMN): The Eteventure X FC Mekokla thrashed Chudi FC 5-0 to lift the 27th Late Nyamo Lotha and Late Daniel Lotha trophy on Saturday at the Multi-Disciplinary Sports Complex in Dimapur organised by the Dimapur Lotha Students Union.
Former Chairman of Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC) Y Vikheho Awomi was the special guest of the closing ceremony. Sports, he said, has become a global business that helps generate billions for all the stakeholders involved.
"There are a number of careers involved in sports and being a sportsperson has many advantages and benefits, but the fact is that it is not easy to accomplish as a superior sportsperson or an athlete. Being a sportsperson requires a lot of effort, time, hard work and enthusiasm," he conveyed.
