Essential commodities reach Alongtaki area

Dimapur, April 9 (EMN): Essential commodities meant for people of about 16 villages in the 30th Alongtaki constituency of Mangkolemba sub-division in Mokokchung district have arrived at their destination for distribution.

Members of the Japukong Students’ Union (JSU) informed on Thursday, April 9, about the goods having arrived at a village for distribution to the people.    

The essential commodities consist of 244 bags of rice, 25 bags of potatoes, 18 bags of dal and 18 boxes of oil, sources informed.

The commodities reached Longchem village. The essential commodities will be distributed to 16 villages that are in the 30th Alongtaki constituency of Mangkolemba, the updates stated.

Updates from a member of the JSU, Yangerlemba Longchar stated appreciation to Temjen Imna Along, minister for Higher and Technical Education and Tribal Affairs, and to Dr Longrineken, advisor of Treasuries and Accounts and National Highways, for helping and looking after the constituency during this difficult time.
