Shaiza of Hunphun village in Ukhrul district was crowned Miss Shirui Lily 2025
title after a night long contest on the fourth day of the 5-day state level
Shirui Lily Festival 2025 being held at Vangayan Shirui village, Ukhrul on
Friday.
- Shaiza went home richer with a cash prize of INR 3 lakh with
gift hampers.
- Athokpam Disti Devi from Imphal and Esther Somungla Jamang
from Chatric Khullen were crowned first runner-up and second runner-up
respectively and were awarded with cash prize of INR 1 lakh and INR 75,000
respectively.

- Seven subtitle awarded to Shonchui Kazingmei (Miss
humility), Laukhuram Zeneva (Miss
Graceful Walk), Sumi Ningshen (Miss Pheithei Pàngthei), Esmee SS (Miss Perfect Body), Cecilia Zimik
(Miss Beautiful Smile), Themthem A
Shimray (Miss Talented), Esther Somungla Jamang (Miss Popularity). The
sub-title winners were awarded with cash prize of INR 20,000 each.
- A total of 22 contestants from Senapati, Imphal, Noney,
Tamenglong and Ukhrul districts competed in the pageant.
- The four jury of the beauty pageant were Pooja Elangbam,
Director (tourism); Thingreiph Lungharwo, president Tagkhul Shanao Long; Joe
Kampal Thongchai, President of Mister Friendship International; and Songasim
Rungsung, Rubaru Mr India 2021 title holder.
- The Shirui Lily festival is an annual state level festival
organised by Manipur tourism department with an objective to create awareness
about the endangered Shirui Lily (Lilium mackliniae), the state flower and
promote sustainable tourism in the region.
