- DIMAPUR — Educentre
School of Business (ESB) on Wednesday conducted a workshop on entrepreneurship
awareness programme (EAP) titled “Driving business growth: Leveraging MSME
support and effective operations management for success” at E-Space in Dimapur.
- The workshop, supported by the Ministry of Micro, Small and
Medium Enterprises (MSME), was focused on business growth strategies and
effective operations management for local entrepreneurs. It brought together
local entrepreneurs, business owners and industry experts, offering a
collaborative forum to explore practical strategies for sustainable growth and
efficient business management.
- Delivering the welcome address, Lezo Putsure, founder of
Educentre, has stressed on the importance of aligning strategic business
planning with available governmental resources. He highlighted how effective
operations management, paired with MSME support programmes, could significantly
enhance a company’s potential to thrive in today’s competitive market.
- During the session, Gaurav Saini, assistant director of
MSME, gave an in-depth overview of current support programmes, subsidies and
financial assistance opportunities designed to help expand businesses, while
Keyelu from the Department of Industries and Commerce elaborated on the range
of government policies and incentives available to foster entrepreneurial
success.
- Abhishek Mishra, additional director and OIC at STPI Kohima,
discussed the various funding options and tech-based solutions under the STPI
OCTANE initiative, while B Debnath, branch manager of SBI SME at Old Market
Branch, provided valuable information on banking solutions, MSME loan schemes
and other financial instruments tailored for startups and small businesses.
- It stated that the workshop not only equipped the
participants with actionable insights but also provided a unique opportunity
for networking and knowledge exchange by laying the foundation for future
business success.
