Entries open for ‘Fusion of The Bands’; grand finale in Dimapur on March 28

DIMAPUR — With an initiative to provide a unique platform for local artistes from all districts of Nagaland and to showcase their talent in Hindi music, the grand finale of a mega musical event ‘Fusion of The Bands’ will be held in Dimapur on March 28, to foster a sense of unity, diversity, and national pride through the universal language of music.

An update from PRO, Ministry of Defence, informed that the event will witness three-stages showcasing the immense talent, to perform in Hindi music. The first stage will be an online preliminary audition which is said to be open to bands and performers from all genres.

Bands and performers can now register and submit their entries at fusionofthebands@gmail.com or send their entries on WhatsApp +917875056274.

The last date for submission of entries is said to be on March 15 where the short-listing of 12 bands will be carried out by the organisers.

The second stage (semifinals) for the 12 bands will be held on March 26 where eminent personalities from the musical field will judge and select 6 bands for the finale. The details of venue and timings will be intimated to the semi-finalists.

Various guest artistes including Imna Yaden, Eva Rongmei, NK Naga, Akumsen Lemtur, Aloboli Kinimi and Prashant Tamang, winner of Indian Idol Season 3 will render exciting musical performances during the finale.
